Temporary accomodation

Individuals and families can find themselves homeless for all kinds of reasons.

There are over 134,000 households living in temporary accommodation across the UK and sadly over 43,000 of those have been placed outside of their local home area due to severe inner city council shortages.

We work with some of those local councils to provide temporary accommodation to help alleviate homelessness and help people to get back on their feet. Whether they are with us for days, weeks or months, we provide practical support to many of our residents including help to claim benefits and pay bills and support to access training and employment.

We also support our residents to move on to a more permanent home when they are ready to do so.

Getting a home

If you find yourself homeless, you should contact your local authority who have a duty to house you. If you are allocated a home with Plexus, we will sign you up and explain everything you need to know about being our tenant.
